Tyr Singleton

Tyr Singleton (she/her) is a training assistant at Activating Change. Tyr developed her passion for enhancing pathways to healing while still an undergrad at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. There, she minored in American Sign Language and immersed herself in the Deaf community. Being able to continue to contribute to the increasing accessibility for the Deaf community and communities of people with disabilities brought her to Activating Change.

Tyr also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and participated in several internships while obtaining her degree. She looks forward to applying her experience to help create resources and training that promote the highest level of accessible services for survivors with disabilities and Deaf survivors.
